This tool captures DNS request packets and the host addresses returned.
This is a tool to monitor database requests and the host addresses supplied to resolve those requests. DnsEye monitors network traffic by capturing Domain Name System DNS packets in network. It displays the host names resolve information. The data is displayed along with the date and time when the access was made. You would be able to monitor requested URLs in network. You can then open it in browser and save captured DNS name list in the file. This has a simple and easy to use interface. It is intuitive enough that most users should get familiar with it quite easily. Getting productive with it should not take much time. The tool runs continuously when the user clicks on the “run” button. You can stop the monitoring by a click on the “Stop”.
The responses captured appear continuously in the display area provided. These entries enter the display area at the bottom of the list and the oldest entry goes out of the list. The program allows monitoring of requested URLs in network, to open it in browser and save captured DNS name list in the file. IT people who are usually charged with managing proper working and maintenance of an organization’s network infrastructure could use this tool effectively. This is a good product. It has many useful features. If you were looking for a product like this, this is one you could try out.
